I’ve known Steve Gailey since he first ran for County Commission some 25 years ago. I really enjoyed getting to know Steve and volunteering with him and his campaign team to help win two elections.
Over the years, I learned that Steve truly cares about Hall County and its success. He has taken a no-nonsense approach to facing the county’s challenges and working with other commissioners to solve them.
I believe that Steve cares most of all about the local tax burden we face. He doesn’t shy away from difficult spending issues, and he is willing to take on budget concerns even when facing stiff opposition.
I also believe that Steve understands what quality, sustainable development looks like. During his previous tenure, SR 365 was a pristine corridor ripe for quality development. Since then, poorly planned growth along this route has been harmful to some surrounding neighborhoods. I believe Steve understands how to bring development under control and to facilitate quality growth that fits the character of our communities.
I hope voters in North and East Hall County will join me in supporting Steve Gailey for Commission District 3 in 2026.
